We all know that cocktails is a mixture of expensive ingredients and we just needed a small amount of every expensive ingredients. Can we do a cocktail in substitution for a cheaper ingredients that would be easily find in kitchen and stores without changing the good taste of a certain cocktails?

We purchase a cocktails in a good presentation in a bar. But what if it is not in a good shape, plain presentation and not too good in our eyes? would you still drink it? does the presentation change the good taste of a cocktail?

A good beer is served in a sub-zero temperature. Does it matters in making cocktails when it comes with the temperature of the ingredients? Is all cocktails served in sub-zero temperature? in normal temperature or it should be warmed first before it will be served?
Forum Thread: The first Cocktail party
The first "cocktail party" ever thrown was allegedly by Mrs. Julius S. Walsh Jr. of St. Louis, Missouri, in May 1917. Mrs. Walsh invited 50 guests to her home at noon on a Sunday. The party lasted an hour, until lunch was served at 1 pm. The site of this first cocktail party still stands. In 1924, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of St. Louis bought the Walsh mansion at 4510 Lindell Boulevard, and it has served as the local archbishop's residence ever since.

Why do Americans love to drink cocktails? what's the history of cocktails for them, Unlike other nationality they just want to drink a bottle of beer and spirit liquiors like vodka, whiskeys, tequila, rum, gin, its either on the rock or straight up.
